Retrospection-: A snapshot from yesterday

Nothing can be better than this. I call this pic a retrospective one. Indeed it is.Its just the revival of of the old college gang that used to loaf around on bikes in search of cheap pubs and classy tea stall.well this was just the beginning of the troubled but memorable trip that we had on 15th this month. troubled coz we avoided some of the disaster that could cost us our lives and memorable coz we dont know if we would be together again, biking around in gang with a motive to celebrate the day for no reason. Cheers guys, you fellows just made my day worth cherished for the lifetime.Cheers Again.

The stolen boat

"One summer evening (led by her) I found
A little boat tied to a willow tree
Within a rocky cave, its usual home.
Straight I unloosed her chain, and stepping in 360
Pushed from the shore. It was an act of stealth
And troubled pleasure, nor without the voice
Of mountain-echoes did my boat move on;
Leaving behind her still, on either side,
Small circles glittering idly in the moon,
Until they melted all into one track
Of sparkling light. "

This pic makes me nostalgic. I am invariably reminded of the famous Wordsworth creativity; The stolen Boat. Its takes me back to those early childhood days when i would be playing by the only tributary flowing through the 'not so interesting' and aloof part of my village. Often have i tried to steal the worldly substances worth millions to me but hardly of any use to the people who owned it. A wooden plank happened to be the first of those things then which i supposedly thought of using to skillfully conquer the coasts of the stream of water, but failed several times. And the failure still lingers in the sub conscious state of my mind and brings back those fragments of memories flashing in front of me at the site of this pic. I miss those innocent days.

Childhood

There is a story behind every photo. And specially this pic has a lot to tell. Just have glace at the pic!it makes no sence. But its one of favorite,In fact one the best shot i have ever clicked. I got an oppertunity to capture this shot while sipping tea on an early morning day at jal mahal in jaipur. Accompanied by vrushali,Punit and aditi, we planned to go to jal mahal at 5.30 to have my fav drink, Tea. I had no clue that summer mornings are so beautiful and full of activity as i have had no experience of 'early to rise' concept in past 4 yrs. A rough ride on bike followed by a sip of tea by the lake side was enough to enthrall me. Suddenly i noticed this child burst into laughter and clapping at the same time quite rhythmically. well thats the story.

Yesterday i got a chance to see the movie 'tare zameen par'. simply great. I was falling short of words to describe it to myself the wonderful story coupled with incredible music and flabbergasting display of affection. this pic has become even closer to me as it depicts that 'every child is special'.

I know that you will love this pic too.

Hostel 5, MNIT

Junta of "Class of 2006 NIT Jaipur" cant forget the best days of their lives (The lucky Few of H -5). This is the place that saw so many ups n downs in so many lives of the young minds. We paved our way to future through this door of heaven. How can we forget those people who would be shouting for help while their ass was being kicked on Bday? This ground hosted So many GPL, post Daru party drama, those never ending post Dinner chats and those night outs with bonn fire and sweet melody played by those swift fingers on the guitar strings coupled with cacophony.
Well, this is one of my fav foto that i will always cherish.

Jaggu

Dating back to 27th Aug 02,at 2/100,i first noticed this guy with his parents combing his hair n tying his shoelace.I was shocked to hav such a NAMOONA as my roomie. He is a book worm in human form with his bones deprived of calcium thus rendering them fragile. He was the only guy in hostel to have authored all class notes for the noble n humanitarian cause. well known among masses for his distinct vocal chord modulation, this prominent Money lender goes to the extenct of even forgoing the principle sum lent.Being the biggest source of entertainment for general masses of MNIT, this talented cook n a natural biotherapist has devoted 4 yrs of BTech in treatment of Pain-stricken MNITians with kilos of medicine imported from home. He will be always remebered by MNIT for his noble n gentle approach towards life.
This was a foto that I had taken casually in 6th semester and modified it carefully to make it look natural.

Albert Hall

One of the best night shoot that i have ever had. This stunning foto features Albert hall located at Ajmeri gate in the heart of the Pink city Jaipur. I have had several trials before i could click this one. Owing to heavy traffic and unstable hand, night shoot becomes extremingly difficult without a stand here. The very low shutter speed spoils the foto in case the hands shiver. Moreover, i spent useless time over ISO setting. In most of the trials i either exceeded the ISO requirements thus rendering lot of noise or far below the requirement that resulted in darker image. I tried this foto almost 30-35 times before finalizing this. I hope you would appriciate this.

Sarson Ke khet

Saw the song "tujhe dekha to ye jana" from DDLJ? This snap reminds me of the green farm land in some remote village amid the Mother nature. its was indeed a great experience while clicking this flick. I travelled almost 5 Km in the farm land in search of Olilseed plantation in a typical North Indian winter morning on the outskirts of a small village near Banaras. Gotto notice Kingfishers eagerly waiting by the bank of the stream flowing by. But couldnt click them coz of Fog.

Awesome 5some

This is a pic that i actually took accidently. These bottles are diplayed in a showcase here at one of my friends home. Despite the poor lightings and the type of camera that I have used, this foto has come quite well. You wont believe that i have clicked this snap with a 3.2 MegaPixle Nokia N 73. That mobile phone instrument has the best clearity in images that i have used so far. even better that K790i.
Just feel like grabbing one for a Bottoms-Up.....cheers.

The Banyan Tree @ Satyam

Well, this the most fav place that i could find in satyam campus at bangalore. This is an old Banyan tree that is spread over a large area just infront of cafetaria. Sitting below this tree at evening gives me an immence feeling of unperturbed serenity and complete relaxation. Famous for housing the only Smoking zone in the campus, this tree adds to the beauty of the surroundings.
This is my first experiment with the night fotography after i recieved my Canon Poweshot S3IS.
This image a bit overdone by use of picasa, but still looks natural.

Life @ NIT Jaipur

Well, This is the most admired and appriciated pic that I have ever taken.Believe me!!This is no blowing my own trumpets but i also feel that it cant be better. I took this snap with Rishu's Fujifilm A345 4.1 Megapixel camera, though a basic one,but fantastic output. The place is Nahargadh,25 KM from NIT jaipur on a hill top infront of Jal Mahal in Jaipur. It was an ordinary occasion that the People agreed to booze there on 02 april 06 at 2.00 AM.
